We are Alary Technologies
Through multiple locations, we service the entire greaterToronto area, specializing in managed services for businesses
that use Apple systems for their most vital work.
Who We Are
You chose to run your business on Apple Technology because you see the value in making strategic investments. You know that with the right tools for the job, your teams perform better, and your organization is more successful.
Alary means wings. Wings to help you reach new heights, but also wings to protect you. Your Apple technology is incredible, but not perfect. Like any technology platform it needs to be maintained, secured, and sometimes repaired. Maintenance and security should be invisible to your teams, and problems resolved quickly when they happen.
Our team has over 100 combined years of experience with Apple products and more tenure than most Apple stores. We’re highly knowledgeable about the entire Apple ecosystem and continuously learning. Our clients are professionals across medical, legal, and design industries and we’ve built deep expertise into the tools and practices they use. Especially for clients with data privacy issues, we understand how to protect and secure their systems.
Our philosophy is to be responsive, thorough, transparent, and reliable. Our promise is that with our support, you won’t need to call on us often, but when you do we’ll be there, any time. Like Apple, we believe that we are a smart strategic investment for your business.
Our Story
My name is Ahmed Kufashi. I started Alary Technologies in 2013 after working in Apple Support for almost 25 years. During that time, I watched the renewed interest in Mac systems and IOS devices and realized that the clients who bought them were buying into a promise that Apple products would just work. And they did. But they sometimes needed service.
Working for companies that sold every type of technology product, they lacked the depth of expertise to support them. These customers were doctors, lawyers, architects, designers – professionals that relied on their devices not as “computer” but as a tool of their trade. Their Mac was as coveted as a mechanic covets their tool chest. They were frustrated when it wasn’t working and elated when it was under maintenance. I also realized that there were very few people who knew these systems inside and out to provide the services that these professionals require.
I decided to start Alary Technologies to be that provider, a place where professionals could come to trust that someone would understand how important these tools were to their profession and keep them functioning. Since our start, we’ve built relationships with our clients who rely on us year after year to keep them running and up to speed with the new tools that Apple provides them. We are one of the first companies to become members of the Apple Consultant Network in Canada, are an Apple Authorized Service Provider and an Apple Authorized Service Centre. Our team has certifications for Cisco, Sophos, Microsoft 365, Dovetail, and several medical ERPs.

In his spare time, Ahmed enjoys playing the violin and spending time with his wife and children. His ideal burger is a thick juicy angus with grilled mushrooms, caramelized onions and crispy jalapeños with lots of mayo.

With a strong media background, Mark has focused his attentions on the hardware side of technology in recent years. Working under instructors with more than fifty plus years of combined Apple experience, Mark has gained tech know-how that spans generations of systems, while always keeping an eye open for the next new gadget. As a child, Mark aspired to become a lawyer (strong Perry Mason influence) but has since decided that the glamorous and high paying lifestyle of tech repairs is where he is best suited. He enjoys a good book, thought provoking movies and finding new and exciting recipes to cook at home.

Robert Quinlan
Robert is an accomplished Apple Engineer with over 14 years of experience with Apple in high volume environments, both as a technician and senior advisor. Taking the same drive that propelled him to pursue Computer & IT Engineering in college, Robert has now chosen to focus on customer facing repairs. When not pouring over the latest Apple gossip in online forums, Robert enjoys diving into the latest WoW expansion and cooking up the next batch of culinary wonders. If his cats could talk, I’m sure they would say that their “unnecessary” diet is completely unwarranted and please pass the tuna. Sorry cats, Robert has already used it for his favourite sandwich: a tuna melt with Swiss and dil pickles.
